Fellowship Program
At the core of El Puente de Encuentros programming is the annual Fellowship Program which aims to support and cultivate leadership skills of diverse graduate and undergraduate students pursuing careers in the behavioral health field. Fellowship students are paired with seasoned behavioral health practitioners who will serve as mentors to the students throughout the Fellowship. By fostering professional relationships between students and mentors who have had shared experiences, we hope to expand the future base of rising behavioral health providers in NM by connecting, engaging, and supporting them through their studies and as they prepare to enter the workforce. Applications for the 2026–2027 school year will be available starting in April. We invite you to return then!
Are you interested in becoming a Mentor to students in our Fellowship Program?
El Puente de Encuentros Mentorship Program is dedicated to supporting higher education students pursuing degrees in behavioral health. We pair Fellowship students with experienced behavioral health professionals who serve as mentors throughout the program. By facilitating meaningful connections between students and mentors who share similar experiences, we aim to strengthen the pathway of diverse behavioral health providers in New Mexico. Our goal is to connect, engage, and empower students as they navigate their academic journey and prepare to make an impact in the workforce.

We would appreciate your participation and support.
We offer the trainings to our behavioral health community and also offer contract-based trainings for independent agencies and or organizations within human service sectors.
